Nintendo fans could be busy this week, as the company has two Nintendo Direct events planned: a Zelda-focused presentation on September 8 and a larger Direct on September 9. Before the event, a leaked poster from Australian retailer EB Games has added to the excitement. The poster names seven games and updates that could be shown during the event.
The list also includes Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, which is expected to launch on October 22, 2026. Minecraft for Nintendo Switch 2 is also to appear ahead of its October 27 release. One of the biggest leaks is a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. According to the poster, it could arrive on November 12, 2026.
Fans may also get their first look at Mario Sluggers: Globe-Trotters, reportedly planned for January 21, 2027. The Duskbloods, from FromSoftware, is another game on the leaked list and could launch during the 2026 holiday season. The poster also mentions Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave and Pokémon Pokopia: Bubbly Basin DLC.
But this is not the end of the rumours. Malo932 has reportedly teased a new Super Smash Bros. game, a Nintendogs comeback, and several other projects. However, none of these claims has been confirmed yet. Nintendo hasn’t officially confirmed most of these rumours either, so it’s best to take the leaks with a grain of salt for now and wait for the official announcement this week.
