Aston Martin Lagonda today announced the appointment of Andreas Bareis as President and CEO, Aston Martin The Americas, effective 1 July 2026. Andreas reports directly to Chief Commercial Officer Andrea Baldi and will head up Aston Martin’s commercial operations in the Americas, which is normally the region that generates the largest sales volume for the automaker. His responsibilities will include improving network performance, enhancing the customer experience, and supporting the brand’s ongoing growth.
Andreas brings considerable international experience in the automotive industry and has a strong background at Aston Martin. Having held senior leadership roles at Mercedes-Benz, Lotus, A123 Systems, Daimler AG and McLaren Automotive, he joined Aston Martin in 2022. As the Regional President, Europe, he helped guide the region into achieving over 30% growth in wholesale sales in 2023. By 2025, Andreas was appointed as the Global Commercial Director during a particularly challenging time of introducing several new products and making their first delivery to customers, which includes the revolutionary Valhalla hybrid supercar.
