Rejin Surendran Joins Britannia Industries Ltd. as CDO & CIO

Britannia Industries Limited has unveiled the appointment of Rejin Surendran as its new Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO), who will help lead its digital and technology initiatives. Rejin brings more than two decades of experience in IT, digital transformation, ERP, cloud technology, data analytics and supply chain technology.

Before being appointed to Britannia, Rejin was Global CIO at Wipro Enterprises. Here, he led digital transformation for the company’s global businesses by managing a team of more than 150 people across 17 countries, and worked on cloud, SAP S/4HANA, data analytics, cybersecurity, automation and AI initiatives. 

Earlier than that, he worked at Coca-Cola Company as Head of Digital & ERP CoE for the Bottling Investments Group. During his time there, he worked on digital strategy, ERP transformation, cloud migration, data analytics, connected factories and digital HR solutions. 

Moreover, Rejin spent more than 13 years at Unilever, where he held many leadership positions, including IT Director – Make & Deliver, IT Director – Global Supply Chain Platform, IT Director, Global Solution Delivery Lead, Lead SME – Supply Chain and Senior IT Manager. His work covered supply chain, logistics, IoT, automation, Oracle, SAP and digital factory projects. 

He began his career as an Engineer at Ballarpur Industries Limited. He later worked with Triniti Corporation, Nexgenix, Inatech Solutions and GE Healthcare in consulting and ERP roles. Rejin completed his master of Management from IIT Bombay and a BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT Warangal.
