One of India’s biggest banks, Yes Bank, has announced the appointment of Sunidhi Sinha Varshney as Vertical Head- Business HR for Retail Assets, Debt Management, Credit Cards, and Merchant Acquisition. As the vertical head at Yes Bank, Sunidhi will drive the people agenda for business verticals and shape HR strategy, talent management, and the overall organisation to ensure that it is aligned with the company’s ambitions.
Sunidhi is a long-time employee of Yes Bank. Over the past six years, she has shown a knack for exceptional HR leadership in multiple roles, most recently as Zonal Head—HR Business Partnering. She has led HR for almost 6,000 employees and generated exceptional results in KPIs, talent acquisition, embedding performance frameworks, and DE&I initiatives.
Sunidhi’s previous experience includes working for conglomerates like HDFC, Credit Suisse, and Cigna. In all of these companies, she made significant strides, taking care of things like the L&D structure, developing training programs, succession planning, and launching evaluation programs based on competency and performance.

Education-wise, Sunidhi has a bachelor’s in Hotel Management, after which she went on to pursue an MBA from the Manipal Institute of Management. She also has an Organizational Development Certification from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. All of this has helped her in her professional career and shaped her approach to various situations in the workplace.
