Centricity Bags ₹280 Cr Will They Scale Profitably

Gurugram-based wealth management technology startup Centricity has successfully raised ₹280 crore (approximately $30 million) in its latest Series A funding round. This major investment round was led by the prominent investment group SMBC Asia Rising Fund.

Several existing institutional investors actively participated in this fundraising event, including Lightspeed India Partners, Burman Family Office, RAAY Investments, Stride Ventures, and InnoVen Capital. According to the company’s founder and chief executive officer Manu Awasthy, the total capital consists of ₹230 crore received in equity and ₹50 crore obtained through venture debt.

This fresh funding pushes the startup’s overall market valuation to roughly ₹1,800 crore. Centricity plans to use this newly acquired capital to heavily upgrade its primary technology platform, scale up its wealth distribution network, and accelerate growth across its key business sectors.

Founded recently in the year 2022 by a team including Manu Awasthy, Gaurav Tiwari, Manish Sharma, Pushpendra Singh, and Aditya Shankar, the firm offers comprehensive financial services to independent financial advisors, large family offices, and high-net-worth clients.

It operates digital platforms such as One Digital for product distribution and Invictus Private Wealth for wealthy clients. Currently, the rising startup manages an impressive asset size of over ₹16,000 crore and works with 20,000 retail partners across 66 cities in India.
