Recently, the Seva Teerth complex was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, who will now work from the brand-new office at the PMO. His first decision following the launch was to sign several crucial documents for the welfare of farmers, women, youth, and weaker sections of society in India. The most notable decision has been the PM RAHAT scheme, which provides free, cashless hospitalisation up to 1.5 lakh rupees for accident victims.
Women’s empowerment saw the government declare that it had succeeded in making more than three crore women “Lakhpati Didis” before its target period, meaning they earn more than one lakh rupees a year. The Prime Minister has raised the target from this point by twice to 6 crores of Lakhpati Didis by March 2029. Moreover, farmers in the country have benefited from the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, which has been doubled to 2 lakh crore rupees.
