Reliance Industries acquires a majority stake in NatureEdge Beverages through its FMCG company, Reliance Consumer Products Ltd. This means RCPL now owns most of NatureEdge Beverages, and both companies will work together in a joint venture. Natureedge Beverages is popularly known for its special healthy drink without sugar. The company started in 2018 and is connected to the Baidyanath Group, which has made Ayurvedic products for many years.
This new partnership helps RCPL to enter the healthy drinks market. Nowadays, more people in India drink healthy cold drinks that have less sugar. Shunya by Naturedge is a popular drink because it uses herbs like Ashwagandha, Brahmi, Khus, Kokum, and Green Tea. RCPL says they want to give people more choices in healthy drinks and make Shunya available all across India using their large network.
