Gravity, a full-stack platform for premium home interior materials, has raised $15 million through a mix of equity and debt funding. 3one4 Capital and Info Edge Ventures led the round, with participation from Alteria Capital, Genesia Ventures, and several angel investors.
Gravity was founded by Saurabh Jain and Lalit Mittal, former leaders at Livespace. The company is working to make it easier for interior designers, studios and suppliers to source materials for home projects. Gravity started with the kitchen and wardrobe segments. It brings different specialist businesses together under one platform, supported by shared technology, distribution, key-account management and operations. The company says it has already built a multi-hundred-crore revenue base and positive EBITDA.
The newly raised funds will be used to improve Gravity’s technology and distribution network, expand into new categories, strengthen its brand and provide working capital as the business grows. The company plans to enter areas such as doors and windows, lighting, wall surfaces and home automation in the future. Saurabh Jain said the interior materials market is still fragmented, with designers and suppliers dealing with multiple vendors and systems. Gravity aims to make sourcing simpler, more reliable and more efficient.
