IndusInd Bank Shortlists 3 Veteran Bankers For CEO Role

IndusInd Bank has shortlisted three veteran bankers for its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) role

IndusInd has shortlisted three veteran bankers for its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) role and submitted the names to the central bank, the Reserve Bank Of India (RBI), for its approval, reported the news agency Reuters.

The names of the three veteran bankers are: 

  1. Rajiv Anand ( Axis Bank, Deputy Managing Director)
  2. Rahul Shukla (HDFC Bank, Executive Vice President)
  3. Anup Saha (Bajaj Finance, Managing Director)

All three veterans who have been appointed as the CEO role in Indusind Bank have almost a decade of experience working in the banking system for financial companies. Rajiv Anand has prior experience working for over 12 years at Standard Chartered Bank, and almost 5 years of experience working in HSBC Bank.

At Axis Bank, Rajiv Anand has been serving for more than 8 years as the position of Deputy Managing Director. He also holds a degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)

Rahul Shukla has been serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of the Risk Strategy Unit in the institutional lender for the last 21 years, and has a Master’s Business Administration (MBA) from the Savitribai Phule Pune University

Anup Saha, Managing Director of Bajaj Finance, has nearly 32 years of experience in the industry, working 25 years in financial services and banking.
