Kirloaskar Oil Engines Limited, a multinational corporation with its headquarters in Pune, has announced the appointment of its new CEO. Kiran Bhagnure-Khapre will take the helm as the new CEO. Bhagnure-Khapre brings over 17 years of experience in leading strategic HR functions across many companies, including industrial and manufacturing enterprises.
Kiran has been with Kirloskar for the past 2 years, joining the company in 2023, and has worked in multiple roles, all within the Human Resources function. Her promotion to the top of KOEL underscores the company’s recognition of the unparalleled talent management and operational skills she brings to the table.
Before assuming the position of CHRO, Kiran Bhagnure-Khapre held the role of Head of Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and HR Operational Excellence at Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited for around 18 months. During this period, she played a key role in revamping the organisation’s pay frameworks, enhancing hiring processes, and implementing significant advancements in HR practices.
Additionally, she acted as the HR Head for the Power Generation Business and Kagal Plant, where she managed HR strategies aligned with business goals, focused on employee growth, and ensured adherence to essential regulations.

More importantly, Kiran has also been a part of other conglomerates, including Cummins Inc. and Behr-Hella Thermocontrol.
