In response to recent GST changes, Sony, LG, and Panasonic have announced substantial discounts of up to ₹85,000 on televisions and ₹12,000 on air conditioners, just in time for the festive season starting September 22.
Starting September 22, lower GST rates on large-screen TVs and air conditioners have caused significant price reductions. TV prices have decreased by ₹2,500 to ₹85,800, while ACs now cost up to ₹12,450 less, depending on the model.
Ahead of the festive season, Sony India has revised its pricing, reducing Bravia TV prices by up to ₹71,000. The 43-inch Bravia 2 is now priced at ₹54,900, while the flagship 98-inch Bravia 5 has been lowered to ₹8.29 lakh.
LG Electronics India has announced discounts on its TV selection, with prices cut by ₹2,500 to ₹85,800 across models from 43 to 100 inches. The 43-inch TV now begins at ₹28,490, while the 100-inch model has been reduced to ₹4.99 lakh from ₹5.85 lakh.
Panasonic has announced discounts on TVs, with prices dropping from ₹3,000 to ₹32,000. The 43-inch models now start at ₹33,990, and the premium 75-inch model has been reduced to ₹3.68 lakh from ₹4 lakh. Furthermore, air conditioner manufacturers have also lowered prices following a reduction in GST rates.
BSH Home Appliances has reduced prices by as much as ₹8,000, with prices now starting at ₹45,000. Meanwhile, Voltas Beko lowered its base model to ₹23,390 from ₹25,990.
