L’Oréal has appointed Priyanka Bhargav as their General Manager & CMI Head (VP) in Mumbai. There, she will lead the company’s Consumer Strategy & Insights function. Priyanka brings strong experience in consumer insights, brand strategy, business growth and data-led decision-making.
Before joining L’Oréal, she was the Head – Consumer Intelligence & Brand Strategy at Flipkart, where she worked closely with senior leaders on growth strategy, customer insights, pricing and brand initiatives. She also played a key role in Flipkart’s premiumization strategy, which helped deliver around 20% year-on-year GMV growth.
Before Flipkart, Priyanka worked at InMobi as Director/Business P&L Head – Strategy & Insights for APAC and MENA. She built and grew the Strategy & Insights business to a USD 10 million business within 12 months. Not only that, but she also worked at Myntra, where she served as Director & Head – Strategy, Brand & Public Relations. She led brand strategy, portfolio planning, communications and growth initiatives, including the House of Brands strategy and AI-enabled fashion brands.
Moreover, Priyanka was Group Business Director at IMRB International, where she managed a USD 20 million+ P&L and worked across consulting, analytics and business growth.
She started her career journey with Jet Airways as a Manager, as a Senior Executive at Tata Teleservices and as a Senior Executive at Nielsen, gaining experience in planning, customer experience, market research and business insights.

She completed her PGDBM in Marketing & Corporate Communication degree from IMI Delhi and a BSc (Hons) in Physics degree from Delhi University. Apart from these, Priyanka also completed programs in applications and space exploration from the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)
